Brisco Darling, was the head of a musical mountain clain The Darlings. He had his own way of thinking and didn't really pay much attention to those who spoke to him in authority if it wasn't something he wanted to hear. With his unique way of thinking every trip to town was an adventure filled with song. Brisco was just one of the musical talents in his clan. The clan consisted of his boys Rodney, Doug, Jebben and Dean along with Daughter Charlene Darling Wash her husband PFC Dudley Wash and their daughter Andilina. The family always equiped with their instruments could sing and play just about every song imaginable to make ya cry. While in town a few of the Darlings even showed some high spirited courtin with the town folks. Charlene pined for Andy, Brisco for Aunt Bee, and Rodney for Ms Helen Crump. While they believed in many back woods ideas like getting a divorce under a full moon, the Oman of the Owl and many others they didn't care too much on having any witchery in the family.
Did you know Denver Pyle worked as a drummer and band member until the start of World War II, when he entered the Merchant Marine?
